Name of parent or guardian who is also attending the event
This would only be used if we need to reach you during the event, or a registration emergency if emails aren't being answered
If you will or might drive your vehicle to the event, enter the plate number (in case we need you to move your vehicle). If you definitely won't have a vehicle at the event, enter 'None'
Please list dietary needs and restrictions, for example if you are vegetarian or vegan, or have food allergies or severe intolerances. PLEASE indicate clearly if you have SEVERE allergies that require attention to cross contamination within the kitchen, and we will enquire with the venue whether it can be accommodated. If you have no restrictions, please put "None" here.
If you (or someone in your party) require the ability to park your vehicle on site and close to the main area, due to medical/accessibility issues, please let us know so that we can plan a parking spot for you.   Please note that the site is minimally wheelchair-friendly.  Contact info@intentiongathering.org to see a site video or if you have concerns or questions.

Do you have any allergies or medical conditions that we should be aware of?  Please include environmental and chemical sensitivities. This information will be shared with the medical team and nobody else.
Given the choice would you prefer a cabin that is:
( Big enough for all of my friends to sleep in the same room. Sleepover! ...or to make a bunch of new friends! )
Note: we will give people a chance to sign up for specific cabins later, right now we are just estimating how many of each type we will need.
If you chose one of the options A-C above, would you be willing to pay a $50-70 surcharge to access this kind of accommodation, instead of staying in a larger room with bunk beds?
Please let us know if you (or a family member attending the event with you) have any mobility, medical or other requirements that might impact the type of accommodation you might need.

Driving on the access road is not recommended after dark.  As a result, recommended arrival time is between 1pm and 4:30pm on December 29th.  Event does not start until 1pm on December 29, please do not arrive before then. Recommended departure time is by 4:00pm on January 1st.  Please tell us here if you are planning to arrive or depart on a different date or time (and if so, when):

Please note that everyone must be out of their rooms by 11am on Jan 1.  Everyone is asked to stay that afternoon for closing circle and to help tear down and pack up the truck.  We will be vacating the site no later than 4:30pm.

VOLUNTEERING

Winter Intention is all about community, and it is run entirely by volunteers just like you. Pitching in helps us all feel more connected and is a fantastic way to make new friends.

How can you help?

We ask everyone to contribute at least 4 hours of volunteer time (and yes, leading a workshop or performing as a DJ/musician counts!). If you're up for more, we love you for it!
If you’re new to Intention, you can read about the different pods at this page

Got strong muscles and love packing trucks?

We've got a special role for you! Help us load the truck in Vancouver on Dec 28th or unload the truck in Vancouver on January 2nd.  Either of these will count for your four hours even though it will almost certainly take less, and is a great option for folks looking to volunteer outside of event hours.

Want to take a short break from partying one of the three nights?

We get that later shifts requiring relative sobriety are less popular. But maybe you could use some designated introversion time, or you want an excuse to give your brain a well-deserved break. We have ‘late-night’ shifts which are only 2-3 hours in length but ‘count’ as your four hours.  These are: first aid (3 hours in the party space), peer support (3 hours in and out of the party space) and family pod (2 hours sitting in a quiet room and monitoring to let parents know if their children wake up).  The questions below will let you indicate whether you are willing to be one of these crucial folks who truly make the party possible.

How many hours would you like to volunteer?
If you have any experience with sound systems, we might be encouraging you to volunteer in that pod instead of any others!

Please tell us how you would like to spend your volunteer time! Note: We'll do our best to give you one of your top three choices but we can't guarantee that.

First Choice?
Second Choice?
Third Choice?
Please list things like: lighting setup, non-violent communication, consent training, counseling training, etc.
Want to be scheduled with a specific person? Don't like to stay up late/wake up early? Any kinds of volunteer work you are definitely not up-for? Anything to communicate to the volunteer organizers that isn't covered in this form?

That's all!  Thanks for being part of our community. We can't wait to see you there!
